My school doesn't have any but my friend's school does. Her uniform rules are awful!

 

Here are the rules for her school:

 

1. No earings

2. No rings on the finger

3. No necklaces

4. Only wear Blue, Orange, or Yellow clothing

5. No pants

6. No sandals

7. No crocs

8. No shorts AT ALL

9. Girls must wear skirts

10. Guys must wear tuxidos

11. All hair must be down (no ponytails or pigtails)

12. Hair must not have any highlights

13. Natural color hair only

14. No makeup (eyeliner, lipstick, masacra, blush, etc)

15. No purses

16. No tennis shoes

17. Sleeves on a shirt must not be above the elbow

18. No backpacks

19. No toys

20. No keyrings

21. No virtual pets

22. Lunch brought from home must either be a lunchable or a sandwhich with 2 sides and a drink.

23. No bracelets

24. No cell phones

25. Shirts must be plain with no writings or marks

26. No hoodys

27. Hair must be in natural form (no straghtening hair or curlying it)

 

See how bad that is? I am SOOO glad that is not my school. I bet you're thinking, "What a horrible Elementry school". That's no elementry school. That's a middle school. Yep. A horrible strict middle school.

I have no idea. Her school is STRICT! She says she wants to transfer but she's going to 7th grade and they don't allow transfers to other schools without a proper reason.

Yep when I found my friend and started haning out and being friends again, she told me about the dress code at her school. I was like, "oh my god, are you serious??" she showed me the school rule book (the school accually has a Rule Book and every student is required to waste $30 on one at the beginning of the year) and I was like "oh my god I can't believe your school does that." At first I didn't even believe her, but sadly, it's true.

I don't get those strick rules AT ALL. What if it's boiling hot outside, and guys have to wear a stupid, long sleeved black tuxedo, as well as girls wearing long sleeved shirts. Also, some people might need to put their hair up because it's long and annoying, and not having that right is just wrong.

I understand the no virtual pets and cell phone rules, because we have that rule at my school and cellphones and stuff are not nessisary for school.

And for the no highlights thing, what if the year before this middle school you got it dyed/streaked, then what are you going to do? You can't just take the highlights out of your hair if they're made to stay there.

With no backpacks and purses, how are you supposed to carry your books and supplies?

And with that lunch rule with the sandwich thing, what if someone doesn't like sandwhich/lunchable, or even if they don't like juice. Plus, wouldn't you get a little hungry through the day only eating a sandwhich through a 6 hour period?

Well I'm done my pointless rant about this, but having stupid rules like this can probably mess a kid up. Being told how to wear your hair, pack you lunch, etc. is wrong.

That lunch rule is insane! If you get suspended and come back, how can you make it through the day without eating a lunch?

Your right that principle should be fired, making stupid and pointless rules like that. If I were those kids I'd ask him/her why they have these rules. If they have no point to them to insure safety and other things, obliviously they aren't nessisary.

Maybe they should report this to the school board, rules like this are just ridiculous.

Also my friend just told me about a new hair rule for next year. Here it is:

 

"Hair must be in it's natural color and must be in natural form. This means no straghtening or curlying hair. Hair must not have any highlights what so ever. Hair for girls must be no longer than shoulder length and for boys must be over the ears. Bangs must not cover the eyes for any reason."

 

I hate that principle. I hope he dies so they can have a better principle. The vice principle wants to be principle because he doesn't like most of those rules. She says kids need a lot more freedom than what they are getting. Go vice principle!

Well what if someone Spent Years Growing their hair nice and long (like my friend, she had short hair ,just past her chin, when she was 4, And Spent Years (shes 12 now) growing it long (She Sits on her hair when shes sitting down so its long)

And that lunch rule sucks.

I'll tell you one thing,if i went to that school, I'd be suspended as soon as i walked in the door ^^

My school is the total opposite, they dont care how you dress (but you cant wear tanktops with thin straps, or shirts that show your stomach) what you eat for lunch (i eat Carrot sticks w/ranch dip, No name brand Grape juice, Fruit Gushers, oreo cookies, and Orange slices). Heck, they dont even give a crap if you swear in class

I'd rather go to school naked than do their dress code. What an idiotic school and rules. Glad that's not my school.

And they can't tell us how to wear our hair. What happens if we don't want our hair at shoulder length??

NO PANTS????? OMG!!!!! How do you survive not wearing pants??? OR SHORTS???? I hate that school.

I'm so glad our school doesn't have uniforms. We have school shirts, but we are allowed to wear whatever we want.

We are allowed to have our hair at any length and any style we want.

We are allowed to pack whatever we want for our lunch. I hate that school so much.

It makes me want to give that principal a piece of my mind and tell him how idiotic his rules are and how idiotic he is!!!!

Our dress code is basically just rules for what we can't wear:

-No spaghetti straps

-No short shorts/skirts

-No halter tops

-No belly shirts/shirts that are short enough to see your bellly

I some of the rules are resonable like toys or virtual pets but orange, yallow and blue? What kind of colors are those? I mean, I like those colors for shirts and such but ONLY those colors? That's craze.

For girls:

Winter: dark blue and maroon pinafore with light blue blouse, navy stockings and black shoes.

Summer: white, blue and maroon dress with short sleaves, white socks and black shoes.

For boys:

Winter: Long dark blue pants, light blue t-shirt, white socks and black shoes.

Summer: dark blue shorts, light blue t-shirt, white socks and black shoes.

I hate uniforms!

You cant wear your hair out if it is below your shoulders.

No hoop earrings, if you can get your little finger through it you cant wear it!

you must wear the school colours in your hair.

I HAVE to wear pants. I have scarrs all up my legs from consistent scratching, and if I don't wear pants, they only get worse. o_o

The lunch thing is stupid. I take a sandwich, apple, and juice. But I always see people taking sweets and such to school. I don't think it's fair to take that right away.

Blue, yellow, and orange are **** combos. Nobody would wear that x.x Maybe a blue top and yellow bottom, but that would still look sort of dorky...

And the hair straightening and curling thing, who's going to know? I ALWAYS straighten my hair. :]

You can wear your hair anyway, You can have different bags. NO ONE CARES! except that you have to order lunch in the morning and pick it up at the line in the canteen. But, who cares?

No ankle socks. just above ankles are fine.
