One is because when people use search, and search for topics, then if you have answered questions in a long thread, then people who search cannot find the answer and may have to flood the forums.

Rules are here to keep this place better and eayser for everyone.

Now, i have consitered to close this, but i am going to leave it open. If it gets too fired up, then i may close it.

People can email you or PM if they like. There is nothing stopping them from doing that, however, I too feel that "Come to me for answers" are pointless and make clutter. I like being able to find the information I'm looking for without having to read 80+ pages of thread just for one question.

Leave it the way it is, it makes life easier.

I understand that many people are keen to help others and want to post "ASK ME " offers. That's kind.

But if someone wants to know something, they can post a question in Help for New Tamagotchi Owners (for example).

If you would like to be helpful and know the answer to a lot of questions, then just go into the forum and answer them all, but it's not very helpful to complain about a sensible rule, nor to try to get others to support you in the forums.

If you really feel strongly about this perhaps you should PM Admin?

Well, Admin's just afraid that the entire board will be filled up with those topics and it'll be hard to find answers for questions. I was thinking that maybe we could have ONE of those help topics every few weeks. If it gets out of hand, maybe a TamaGuide should run the topic.
