uh? (the 'attention' icon)

I've never really played tamagotchi before but I bought a tamatown tama-go thing because I wanted to try it.

a couple minutes into playing, the 'attention' icon lit up and I have tried everything I can think of to make it go away. food, discipline/praise, toilet, going to the park, even medicine. :l

I don't understand?????

Do you leave it alone to make him/her lonely ?

it isn't happy at all but I literally just started playing half an hour ago and it's been paused for most of that time.

edit: ah, I played a lame game with it and the icon went away. thanks!
