Does anyone know how to pause Touma pet game? Also turn it off w/o losing data?

The only way to pause is by resetting, which can be done by pressing the reset button on the back. The Touma Pet automatically saves and has a Continue option. Continue is the first option listed after re-entering the clock info. There is no Off feature, instead you have to wait for the battery to die.

Hello when will the Touma Pet retire? It is 11 years old but its not retired. It looks old..

I have just gotten a toumapet a few days ago but mine uses 3 regular AAA batteries and I find the batteries die out very fast..like in a couple of days! The batteries read over half full on my battery tester but the batteries give a black screen if I try reinserting them. Only when I add fresh new AAA batteries that the coloured screen comes back on and stays on. I never saw the option of there being a usb hookup charging one either which would have been a far better option.

I have a tamagotchi square sugar cube one coming in shortly but I think that takes 3 regular AAA batteries only as well. I do like the idea that one can communicate with another toumapet tamagotchi tho.

I'm presently on a tamagotchi scavenger hunt.. on the cheap...lol. I also ordered the moon elf tamagotchi cos it has cats and dogs. I think it's screen is only black and white tho...??? Anyways... could be interesting...lol
