Why am i posting about my cats? Because i miss them, and if pitr has been put down, I want his memory to be honored and treasured.
Pitr was my step dad's cat. He used to be fit, but now he is as large as a water melon. I don't remember when i met him. He used to have a sister, Dusty, but 6 years ago she was suffering from seizures and had to be put down. Pitr was big, black, and the insides of his ears were going bald. That stupid dog across the street once bit his tail, and it had to be bathed and shaved (poor kitty)
Marzipan was a grump, and hardly ever set foot in the house, except to sleep with my brother and eat. We got her when my sister went nuts and really really wanted a Siamese cat. Marzi was up for adoption for a while, but the days all had to be canceled, because once she got fleas, once she had to get a flea bath, and the last day, we got her.
Bellatrix was the cuddlebutt of the bunch. se got her as a kitten with her 2 sisters, kestrel and sparrow. we wound up giving kestrel to my dad and step mom, and sparrow to my aunt Lisa. Bella had 3 kittens a year later, Inky, Blinky, and Monkey face. Inky and Blinky were adopted by a nice family, and we kept monkey. Bella was a small black cat with a white chest, chin, and paws.
Monkey (trouble) was a small tabby kitten who looked just like his aunt Kestrel. He was a funny little nut, and he was always playing with stuff; his mom's tail, Pitr's tail, string, my hands, my legs, milk jug rings, pen caps, and, on occasion, the cat toys (I still have scars from the last time he tackled my hands). "yes, our cat loves to play, but he plays with the wrong stuff".
On the friday before last, our neighbor came over and complained that our 4 cats were pooping in her kid's sandbox, and she was sick of it. So we started to keep our cats inside (yeah right thats gonna work). but on monday an animal control officer came over and told us that she had gotten an anonymous email complaint from someone on friday. apparently here in south jordan leash laws apply to cats as well as dogs (so why doesn't that evil dog accros the street get arrested for running around free? No leash, no kennel, nothing) and its a class B misdemeanor to have a cat running around wild. also, your only suppose to have 2 cats. also, you can be fined $500 dollars PER CAT if they are found outside pooping in other peoples yard and/or without a leash. So now we have to get rid of our kittys. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif You know, if your going to complain about cat poop in the sand box, go to your neighbor who owns them OR call/email animal control, not both! mad.gif
