The seller has it listed as a Tamagotchi, but the package says it's a Tamogotch.

WOW! If I didn't know any better I would have thought that was REAL! ;)

That fake is so funny! It even has a V2 screen backround, and it means that it is running the "Tamagotchi Connection/Plus" chip.

Yes but keep in mind that tamagotch's is just the japenese ppls way of saying tamagotchi.

WAIT!!! That's from another country! ^_^ A JD is from another country :( So it's ok!
It's not OK. It's not a Bandai product, so it's not a real Tamagotchi.

P.S. Sometimes Bandai writes Tamagotchi as Tamagotch (without the "i" on the end) on Japanese packaging, but they NEVER write it Tamogotch nor Tamogotchi (with an "o" instead of an "a").

P.P.S. Bandai never label the buttons "A", "B", "C".

P.P.P.S. The pattern/picture behind the screen is just something printed on a piece of paper. It is no indication of which version it is. As a matter of fact, it's quite easy to take your Tamagotchi apart and replace the original picture with one of your own. Note: If you take your Tamagotchi apart and it breaks, or you wreck it, don't blame me.
