The V5 question of all questions

I'm new to TamaTalk and have been poking around for about a week now,

and have found 6,321 awesome tips and tricks, but I still have a few unanswered

questions that I hope someone can help me with...

what am I striving for with my v5? or...

what is the end result, after all my hard work?

I'm now moving onto my 6th generation and am beginning to get bored.

I've now decided to start a 'pure family'. I didn't even know that was possible

until I started poking around in TamaTalk, Is this what I'm supposed to do?

will I soon be at an end?

If this is indeed the case, how is anybody supposed to figure that out on their own?

Also, in my quest to create a pure family, I have to deny most of the hookups

the dating show host chooses. after saying no three times, I am unable to get

back on the show. Is there a way to get back on without waiting an entire day?

yes there is.

its very simple.

if u have tried the dating show 3 times n it still wont give u the perfect partner, then set the time to when ur tamas are asleep (anytime) and then set it back again to when it is awake (anytime) then, u have 3 more chances for the dating show.

The 1996 - 1997 vintage Tamagotchi could be thought of as a game. The goal of these models was to see how long you could keep one live for. Bandai published a chart on the instruction sheet.

0-5 YEARS: Try harder next time

6-10 YEARS: Room for improvement

11-16 YEARS: Good job

17-22 YEARS: Excellent

23+ YEARS: Amazing!

Keeping a character on one of these models alive that long isn't easy. They become quite needy as they age. At around 21 "years" (days) old, they will call for attention every 10 minutes or so. Even with the best care possible, a character on one of these models will die. Game over.

In contrast, characters on the Connection (& Connexion) -series Tamagotchis (V1, V2, V3, V4, V4.5, V5, etc.) don't become needier as they age. By mating, these models can have their game play flow from one generation to the next for months. Even a dead battery is no obstacle - simply pop in a new battery and select download to resume where you left off. If anything, these newer models aren't games; they're toys, where you set your own goals.
