Much like how many can't wait for PSL to return to Starbucks, I couldn't wait to hatch my Devilgotchi to get into the Halloween spirit! I don't know if I'll hatch it again once it dies, but I'd love to find virtual pet creepypasta!

Not a creepypasta per se, but Are You Afraid of the Dark? had an episode about evil virtual pets called "The Tale of the Virtual Pets" from 1999.

Hehe thanks! And I was actually thinking about that, my personal vote is egg nog! I get so excited to see nog in the store and am always so sad when it goes away for the season

I forgot just how long each stage takes! I have no idea how I managed to do daily virtual pet vlogs last year, I'd definitely struggle to make such a slow process into interesting content these days and am really glad I switched to weekly!
We got an evolution yesterday!

Reminds me of when I realized I didn't have to write every day in order to keep a personal diary. I wrote on the last day of every month and thus managed to keep a diary for like 6 years. (I later even dropped the monthly schedule and wrote whenever I felt like it. I think I did something similar when I had my log.)

It wasn't so bad a year ago when the world was a bit slower and the vpets were always up to something new! There also weren't many vpet vloggers out there and those that were were doing daily. It definitely helped my channel grow faster, but since I did have that jump and a couple of mega popular videos, my growth has been pretty steady(20-30 a month) despite switching to weekly. I think having that backlog does really help tho.
