Banoon, from Mimitchi.com, inspired me to raise my tama to live to be 99 years old. she was raising a V4 (and I will be, too), her tama was an Otokitchi, and she lived to be 25 years old, then her tama resetted on it's own. Well i hope that doesn't happen to me. Wish me luck!

no don't let it get married. here are my helpful tips:

don't let it get married, it will leave when you put it to sleep

i advice resetting your tama

when it starts dying, quickly reset it and download.

i used these tips and my tama got to 69. good luck!
