The "all blondes are stupid" label.

Well, first off, grades don't mean anything. You could be really smart and get C's and B's, or kind of slow and get all A's.

Second, if you dye your hair blonde, does it make you stupid? That's ridiculous. Stereotypes are usually incredulously untrue. One of my best friends is a blonde, and she's one of the smartest (and most random) people I know. Hair color doesn't determine your IQ and vice versa.

No. It makes no sense because blonde is a hair color. Whoever came up with that stupid label is just stupid themself. I know a bunch of smart blondes.

In fact, I know for sure that when I can, I will dye my hair blonde. Probably a blonde like Beth Chapman's. I love blonde hair and I know that there are many blondes who are really smart and a brunette could die her hair blonde and switch back to brunette and be stupid.

My English and Geography skills are about Year 10 level.

Loads of my Friends are blonde and they are about the same level as me.

You can be very intelligent and be blonde, It doesnt matter.

Your not "Dumb" or "Stupid" if you have blonde hair.

I don't think blondes are stupid. My mum is a blonde and she's got an IQ of 136. I'm a brunette and I've got an IQ of 140. My best friend is a redhead and she's got and IQ of 120. My dad's hair's black and he's got an IQ of 145.

My mum's uncle is blond and he's got a degree in topology with an IQ of about 190.

So there all you hair-colour-racists.

My natural hair colour is brown, but everyone sees me as blonde because it's highlighted/dyed that colour. I wouldn't think blondes are stupid.

I think I'm clever even though I have blonde hair. Some people don't think I'm clever because I ask questions if I don't understand - If you don't ask you'll never know! I'm a bit clumsy as well but that's nothing to do with my intelligence.

You can't 'try' to be blonde, it's a hair colour..

If someone with brown hair (like me) wanted blonde hair (like I have) isn't 'trying' to be blonde. They just want a different coloured hair. That's just like saying "If you have brown hair and you dye it red - your trying to red".

I have my hair done blonde because it looks better.

Your hair colour has got nothing to do with how you act, skills, personality, whatever.

hey...I'm brunette and if I dyed my hair blonde I wouldn't be stupid. And what if a red head wanted to be blonde would she/he be stupid then too?

The whole blondes being stupid thing has been around for a while. It was fuled by famous people like Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, and others like them. Those people in some cases were actually pretty stupid in some cases, or at least pretending to be.

It's just a dumb stereo type, anyone who actually believes it is dumber than the stereo type that they endorse.
