Tekno, who also released the Tekno the Robotic Dog, created a line of robots in the early 2000's known as Dinkie Robots.

They're a robot family. From left to right we have Bikou Kie the family dog, Oto Kie the son, Jobo Kie the mother, Fubo Kie the father, Suki Kie the daughter and KouKou Kie the baby. They all have built in sensors where you can feed and play with them. Their faces are an LCD screen, which allows them to change expressions to give hints on how to care for them and to play the games. They also make noises, which a common complaint I have seen about these guys is that they're noisy!
For the most part I can find a decent amount of information about them, with the exception of the dog Bikou Kie. They look pretty cute and fairly interactive for their time! They have some qualities to them that really remind me of Tamagotchis. I'm thinking about buying one of these soon, I'm leaning towards the mother character or the baby. Does anyone have some of these?
