Teachers have a skill point cap?

I've been training my young Memetchi with the flower teacher for a while now. But I just noticed, I got to 83 fashion points using the teacher but now the teacher is giving no points when I get the correct box in the game. I tried 3 times and I now get nothing. Is there a cap on how many points you can get from the teacher? Limited to a certain ammount in an hour or something? It doesn't make sense

You can only receive skill points the first 10 times you go to school each day
