I apologize sincerely if this has been asked before -- I checked all over the forums and found nothing, searched, and also Google'd the problem with only one relevant response and still no answers as to the issue is normal or not.

Basically, I just brought home my first new-generation tama, and I got all excited to go to TamaTown, and I just got a page load error, over and over. In fact, none of Bandai's websites appear to be working. :[ I'm really bummed out and half-afraid that Tamagotchi got all obscure suddenly and they stopped running the website, although that seems sort of unlikely?

Is this happening with anyone else? Is it just down today for normal maintenance, and will be back up again soon? Or is this a normal problem for people with certain obnoxious and confusing internet settings, or something? D: It's not Windows Firewall, I disabled that...

D': PLEASE HELP ME. I just want to play with my new Tamagotchi ;-;

Hello again. I kind of want to delete this post, but in the off chance that other people are having the same issue, I'll just say that I fixed the problem and the solution actually WAS turning off a firewall (for me, a program called PeerGuardian that I totally forgot was on). So if anyone is having that problem and wound up here, looking for an answer, try turning off all firewalls.

I am so glad this is working now! I can be a valuable contributor to this forum now D: lawl.
