How long do Tamagotchi parents stay after having a baby?

Usually about 24 hours. The parent will leave your Tamagotchi at midnight after 24 hours has passed. (So, if you don't keep your Tama on at night, the parent won't leave!) So, when you get up the next morning, you will have a baby waiting for you!

Around a day...unless you happen to pause. Then they stay quite a bit longer...I don't suggest doing so, thiough. It can mess up the life progression of your tama.

Do babies get the items their parents had?

yes. they keep the items unless the parent dies be4 the baby is ready 2 fend 4 itself

Yes, the baby gets tikeep all of the items/ souvineirs, plus all f the Gotchi Points.
