Tamagotchi P funny error

it happens all of a sudden. i did a reset twice, (pushing the button at the back of the tamagotchi), but after a while.. it goes back to this screen. can anyone help me? i can't read japanese. ):

The battery! You need to change it because it has run out of charge.

That means 'Battery is low' or 'Battery has run dry' meaning you need to replace the battery.

The character and message you see on the screen is "Battery Low!" in Japanese, and that is Kandentchi, or "Batterytchi" for that matter.
