Tamagotchi P English patch

I'm new to this site so bare with me guys! Has anyone successfully installed an English patch to their tamagotchi P using a galaxy s4? I have about a month to prepare for the arrival or my Tamagotchi P. I've read that you can buy an inferred blaster online but I'm trying to save a couple of dollars by finding the least costly way to patch this up. I also have a mac (currently not sure what version is running but I will check is nessesery, not sure if that helps.

Hi there! I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 as well. Unfortunately, the infrared beam only sends data and doesn't receive. It makes your phone a remote control for your TV.

You'll have to find an older infrared phone or use a Windows OS computer with a Infrared USB Dongle in order to transfer your files to your Tamagotchi P's.

There was a similar topic a few months ago. You may find the info there pretty helpful.
