Giga is by Tiger Electronics. (Now owned by Hasbro) American.

A Giga is a specific pet. It will grow the same every time... While a Tama can grow differently each time.

I believe the Tamagotchi came first.

3. Yes, why would Japan make that when there's already Tamagotchi there?
