Tamagotchi ID - ID L mate?

I bought a used ID off a member here off ebay. I have a ID L so im just wondering if they can mate?

Yep, I was going to say that, the +C, Hexa, Lovely Melody can't mate with each other. I have the 15th Anniversary Ver. also can mate. But they can't have the same babies (eg. Mate Mametchi and Lavulitchi = Choribotchi and Marutchi).

I thought they COULD mate...I've read about people making their id l and id marry. Maybe they were mistaken.

Not sure where you read that but yes, they were mistaken. They can connect via infrared but only to exchange gifts or play the connection game
