Is there a certain time when on a Tamagotchi V5 when it needs to use the bathroom? So I could know when to press the button for them to use the toilet instead of poop on the floor.

When you see one of them has stopped moving normally, and has a strange expression on their face. If you select the toilet icon at that time, s/he will poo on the toilet, not on the floor.
