Tamagotchi Friends: can you sell Jewels?

As the title says: I went to the Fortune Teller in Dream Town and I won a Jewel that I already have (and I only have 6..... so unlucky -___-). So my question is: can I sell that second jewel? I tried going to the shop but there isn't any selling option

No, but if you have another you can give it to the other or exchange jewels.

Ok thanks I hope one day I'll find someone with TF so we can play together! XD I don't think I'll ever buy for myself two of the same thing.
