So here's what Bandai had to say on the Tamagotchi Friends at the Toyfair 2014.

Still not sure why they're speaking as though this is the first time Tamagotchi is making a comeback since 1996. The Bandai rep even goes to say, "It's coming back after 17 years!" Why completely disregard 2004-2010 Tamagotchi releases? Strange.

Retro look yeah I'm sure kids will love not being able to see their pet on the screen. It's annoying like I said on a status post that they have swept the toy's history under the rug the v1 -6 /Tama go were such great toys I'm really sad well this is only the uk toy fair we still have the new york one I'm hoping they made something improved on this and not just release the same toy I mean I'm starting to want one but it's like why do I need a simple tamagotchi when I have a p1.

Figures I'm excited for though I want the melody cafe.

As furbitchi said, this video is actually from the UK Toy Fair. We still have the New York Toy Fair this weekend for any possible new information.

As far as the figures go, they were shown in the video for those who missed them. If they release a set with a Knightchi and / or Pianitchi figure, I'm buying it. End of story.

Not much info i is out also in the images there were goodies and noticed that I saw erasers of Miraitchi and Clulutchi which TamaDepa has here's some images

you can also see some new gorgeous shell designs at about 1:29

and they said something about color icons but i couldn't get a good look at them

as far as i can see it just looks like there is icon backgrounds on the paper behind the screen like in vintages and connections

Those AMAZINIING!!! AAAHHH!!! I gasped SO loudly when I saw that picture and I had a hyperventilation fit and started shivering, breathing really hard, and crying ;u; I'm a disgrace haha. AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TOYS! I can't see Mametchi... OnO I did see Memetchi though. I LOVE ALL THE NEW DESIGNS
