hi there fellow potatoes

so uhm, i got my 4U a few days ago (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS) and i'm having some trouble with the faceplate...

you see, there are 4 pins on the faceplate holding it in place. here's a picture to show you what i mean:

this is not the faceplate i have though, i just have the silver one lol

the problem with my faceplate is that the bottom left pin got "thinner", you could kind of compare it to erosion, i don't know how to explain xd

but it basically comes down to the pin having "faded" a bit. it faded so much, that when the faceplate's clicked on, the left side of the faceplate can be pushes up and down a little. so only the right bottom pin keeps it in place (i know there are 2 pins at the top, but if the bottom ones break, the faceplate can easily fall off because the top pins don't have to be clicked in place, they just are slided into place. so if the bottom ones break, it could just fall off)

i did have this problem at first, but i took the faceplate off and put it back on a few times. i noticed i had to push quite hard for it to click into place and i the click was quite loud in my opinion xd

this probably led to the problem with the left bottom pin.

my question is: how can i fix this? preferably without glue, as i probably would like to change between faceplates in the future, but still want to be able to use this one.

thank you in advance! :D

i was thinking the same, but that would leave marks..hmm...maybe could apply a miniscule drop of glue on the pin to make it "thicker" again?

not sure about this though

tbh, not sure about that AT ALL lol
