OK i know this has probably being posted millions of times and i apologise for posting it again, but my TMGO's screen is stuffed up because i left it in my school bag this afternoon and when i got home and checked on it the screen had gone all fuzzy and then i realized.... My water bottle had leaked on it!!!! Help!! I know lots of people say to put it in Rice or something but will it work for TMGO??

BTW until my TMGO is fixed i will be running a different tamagochi in my log thanks.

Hello sakura-san123! :hanatchi:

I'm quite sure placing it in a bowl/container filled with rice may help. If it works with the previous figures, I have no doubt that it would not work with the Tama-Go!

Fingers crossed!

you could open it up and dry the inside with a small soft cloth, it has happened to me before and i fixed it this way. but just be careful not to break it! if you have never opened a tamagotchi before or do not know how to, ask an adult or someone who knows how to fix toys. hope this helps, good luck!!!

Thanks for the advice!! But sadly i don't have the right screwdrivers to open my tama-go up!!! I will try the rice thing later on in the week.

You could probably use a sharp steak knife for the Tama-Go. If you are young... ASK a parent to open it that way.... They might even have a screwdriver. The longer you let it set with possible water inside, the worse off it might be. You will definitely need to check for erosion of the battery and check all the little silver bumps inside for stuff on them.

OK thanks!!! I will sort it out tomorrow!

*sniff* same thing happened to my TamaGo and sadly nothing could save it, not even the rice technique :( Good luck though!

Really!!! thats not good!!! I loved my purple TMGO!!!!!! It was my first TMGO ever...... :( :(
Because you have left it for a while now, it most likey water damaged. If you have acted quicker you might have saved it. Anyway don't worry about it to much, keep it as a reminder of your first Tama-Go!

Thanks JordBoss!! I am still really unhappy that i have ruined my first TMGO.... but i will deffiently be keeping it forever! As a reminder of my first and favorite tama-go.... :)
