I had a v3 back when they first came out that I'm convinced was defective from the factory. I played with it for less than a month before throwing it away. Any little thing would set it off: I couldn't hold it because the heat from my hands would make the screen pixelate, and any tiny amount of direct light hitting the unit would cause it to do a hard reset. Absolutely horrible little thing.
