Tama generations

I have a question...How many generations can a tama go? I am currently about to start the 19th and I was unsure if there was a maximum number of generations that a tama can go or if they go until you don't want them to go no more.

I forgot who but someone on this site said they were on their 63rd generation!

I think it is the same as for age - the number can't go above 99 on your tamagotchi, you'll have to keep a record of it after that

well actually tamas can go past the age of 100. they go to 300 maximum then they die.
