Strange beep..

Tamagotchi version 1, 2 and 3 let out a very quiet beep every second, something to do with the mechanism. If you put the back-side of the tamagotchi to your ear, you should hear the beep. Nothing Major.

Oh but it was so scary (I was about 8) when I first heard the beep when it was very loud. It was (this is confusing, I know) on a wooden surface and the sound sorta echoed and became REALLY loud somehow. I woke up suddenly and was really scared. I raised my tamagotchi and it stopped, I let out a sigh of relief. But to my despair everytime I put it down it started beeping Dx I used to absoloutly HATE it when I could not control something, and when your tired its even more freaky. I thought my tama was in trouble, but I then listened in and worked out it was the mechanism

Have you ever heard this before?

Sorry I know this is boring its just on my mind and I'm curious as to whether you've heard it or not.

Note: Later versions don't let out the sound...Phew!!

On my Music Star yesterday my Tam was playing trumpet and I praised it. It played some weird little jazz-type of beep and I don't know why... usually it beeps like normal where it cheers and its only happened once. Whys that?

That beep is normal. It Only happens with the v1, v2 and v3. Some people call the beeping the 'Heart Beat'. And many ppeople have heard of it.

yeah i heard that it happens on my v2 which i dont use any more because for some reason that sound drains my battery badly and i have to replace it every like 2 days.

I think maybe it's because you played it extra well or you got another training bar from it or something/
