He tapped her with his tiny scythe. "Squeak!" (Then get to askin'! I may be a rodent but at least i'd have the sense to ask!)

"..." Morbid got up and went to Death's office.

 

[Robonekro]

Death's office was crammed with books upon books, yet another phase of his.

He lowered his book and peered at Morbid, his eyeglow dimming. "Ah. Morbid.."

 

[Decode]

"Hi," she whispered. "May I come in?"

 

[Robonekro]

Death nodded. "E-excuse the mess."

 

[Decode]

"It's no problem, don't worry."

 

[Robonekro]

"So what's on your mind?"

He sounded a little more confident than before.

 

[Decode]

"I don't know. Nothing, I guess."

 

[Robonekro]

"I see. I..i apologise for earlier if i bothered you."

He fidgeted with his robe sleeves.

"I'm fine."

 

[Robonekro]

And as usual, Death's inate ability to be blunt kicked in. "...I take back my past decision about us."

"And?"

 

[Robonekro]

"Could we start again? You and i?"

 

[Decode]

"No. You had your chance."

Death nodded, his eyeglow dimming completely, 'closing' his 'eyes'.

She frowned a little. "I'm sorry."
