Gabriel said, "You suddenly turned away from me and got all quiet. Don't you worry me like that again, okay?" He gently took her by the arm, and led her down the street. "I'm going to show you my most important tool, for every mission I go on." He pointed to a sleek black convertible. "There she is! I can't go anywhere without her-- literally."

Arianna said, "But I bet that she'll be able to express what she wants with the tone of her voice, and her face. And I love hearing babies coo, personally. At least they aren't talking back, you know." She laughed slightly, which caused Katherine to kick again.

Eponine kissed him deeply in return, entangling one hand in his hair, and placing the other on his shoulder. It was nice, after the years of pushing everyone away, to let someone in, and see who she really was-- not a angry, spiteful, bitter girl with a hardened heart. No, she was vulnerable, loyal, and genuinely kind, deep down. But she didn't show the world that side of her anymore. She had been hurt enough.

Aimee stared at the convertible, her mouth opening slightly as she tried to find the words. She could never afford something as beautiful as that. She even felt a slight twinge of envy. Aimee didn't even own her own car, it was borrowed from a friend. "It's... beautiful, Gabriel. You're a lucky man." She felt the word choice was a little off, but she had made her statement clear: Be grateful for what you have.

Akadou stood up and kissed Arianna lightly. "That's good. I hope she'll be a well behaved teenager, and stay relatively close to us. Even if we are the enemy, technically," he said, laughing. "When she starts school she'll brag about her mommy being a singer and her daddy working for NASA." He was thoughtful, almost lost in his own, perfect world. "She'll turn every head."

Stacey closed his eyes, really into it now. He wasn't scared she'd get hurt- he knew Eponine would stay. Not only did he know, he just had this terrific sensation booming in his heart. Love. He hadn't felt love since the Tudor period of time, and his love for Eponine was so much stronger. He finally pulled away from her, taking a breath. "Who taught you to kiss like that, hmm?" he asked, laughing quietly.

Gabriel flashed his smile again at her expression, then took both of her hands in his. "Would you like to go for a ride? We could just get out of town for today, go to the countryside, relax. I need a break from life, and you do too. It'll be great, we'll have so much fun!" He led her to the passenger side, then opened the door for her. "We don't have any time to waste, dear."

Arianna said, "If I'm still a singer by then. I mean... when she's young, I might try to be a stay at home mom, so I can watch her grow up. Or, if I do keep singing, I won't tour or anything, not until she's old enough for me to take her for summer tours. I don't want to interrupt her schooling. I want her to grow up in a stable environment, nothing super crazy like how I grew up."

Eponine opened her mouth to answer, but no words came out. Where had she learned that? Was it from Liam, her ex-fiance? No.. no, they had never kissed like that, through the whole "courtship" process. When she had been with him, she loved him, but there had been something missing. This was different. It made her feel completely happy, it had something more. She finally said to him, "I had it in me all along. But you were the one who let me show it."

Aimee got into the passenger side of the car. She had no idea what she was getting into, but she was blushing a lot. She closed the door herself, looking out the windshield before putting her seatbelt on. She was going on an escape with Gabriel- a guy she pretty much knew not a lot about- and was going to a romantic country side. Something seemed off to her. It was a little to.. magical.

"She could come to NASA with me, too. Maybe she'll have both our talents- science and music. I think she should play the violin. Not vigorously though like some parents do to their kids, but something for her to do to express herself as she grow older." Akadou smiled lightly, liking the ideas that came into his head. Were these paternal thoughts normal though? I mean, so early in the babies life? He looked at Arianna. His eyes were shifting with over come joy, the light literally glowing his eyes.

Stacey cocked an eyebrow and his lips twisted into a devilishly amazing grimace. "Eponine, you never cease to amaze me dear. I've never seen someone so... so..." He leaned close to her, tilting his head as he whispered, "phenomenal." He suddenly pressed his nose against hers, trying to be playful. He purred like a cat and put his arms around her waist.

Gabriel said, "So, how does dinner and just driving sound to you? I don't know my way very well, but I have my GPS so we won't get lost." He beamed at her, positively radiant that he had someone to spend the day with. He didn't have many friends in SPB, so Aimee was very important to him. He started the engine, grinning at how quiet it was. "Stealth," he said, as if that one word explained everything. He then sped away, out towards the outskirts of the city.

Arianna said, "I definitely would like for her to get involved at your job. I want her to have a variety of things to do, of talents to explore. I want to give her everything she needs, and help her to become a smart, kind young woman. And I know that you'll be a great father. I can already tell." She placed a hand on his cheek, smiling gently at him.

Eponine smirked and murmured, "And that's why you should never judge a book by its cover. You never know when there could be someone like me." She wrapped her arms around his neck loosely, then kissed up and down his jawline. "I love you," she whispered against his skin. "Especially because you drive me crazy."

Aimee stared out the window, watching the things speed by her as a blur. She looked over at Gabriel. "Dinner and driving sounds great!" she said enthusiastically, smiling lightly. She shifted in her seat, now looking out the windshield. As she thought about it, Gabriel was also one of her only friends. Aimee's sisters were both in SPB- although one was hiding from society- the other with a new born. She was terrified to see how her sisters would react after thinking she was dead. She shivered and sank in her seat, folding her arms tight over chest. She also thought her mood would destroy Gabriel's, and she tried to smile, but failed.

Akadou kissed her deeply for a moment, then pulled away. "I thank thee, my pretty lady." Akadou felt a ring box pushing in his jeans and winced. He didn't know if now would be the perfect time to ask or not. He looked at Arianna's face, and smiled. "I love you, Arianna." He pulled the box out of his jean pocket, getting on one knee and popping the box open. The ring shone inside all pretty and such.

We never had a real proposal and I wanted to type fancy : D

Stacey gave a breathy laugh. "I drive you crazy? I think it's the other way around, dear." He tiled his head up a little, enjoying her kisses as he suddenly lay down on the counter [which was thankfully long] and pulled Eponine on top of him. He placed his hands around her, holding her securely. "Now, I think I drive you crazy."

Gabriel said, "Your life hasn't been easy, I can tell. Now, you don't have to take me up on this, but I am here to listen, and we are just driving aimlessly. We have time to talk, time to laugh and cry. I'm not trying to impose or anything, I just want to let you know that I'll listen to you, if you want me to." He reahced over and patted her shoulder, before putting his hand back on the wheel.

Arianna stared at the ring box, completely shocked. "Akadou!" She exclaimed. "Oh my! Yes, yes, of course I'll marry you!" As if she understood, Katherine kicked forcefully, causing Arianna to laugh out loud. She extended her hand to him, and said, "I couldn't imagine marrying anyone else, ever. You're the only one for me."

Eponine playfully kissed his neck. "No, now it's going to be the other way around. I'm driving you crazy." She continued kissing his neck, a slight smile playing on her lips. It was nice, to be needed, to be loved, to feel like the best girl around. It had been so long since she had felt somewhat important, to anyone, and it was the most pleasant thing ever. Well, besides being in love.

Aimee really thought long and hard about where she would even begin.

"When I was eight years old, Kinsey was five, Terra was two. We were each three years apart. It was a week after Kinsey's birthday... our dad, Skye Millhone, wasn't liked by my mom's high class family. My mom - Rita, came from a wealthy, well known business family. Skye came from a pathetic family on the outskirts of Brooklyn. How they came together, I'll never know.

But Kinsey was in the car with Mom and Dad- playing with paper dolls she had gotten for her birthday. A giant rock was pushed off a cliff by a demonic being and it crushed the car. Mom died instantly by Dad told Kinsey to get away, quick, or she'd be doomed. Kinsey held his hand for his last five minutes together.

When I was twelve, I ate a fruit. This fruit was exotic, accidentally bought by Aunt Virginia, who was taking care of us at the time. I got seriously sick and went into a comma for two months. Aunt Gin just flicked the switch.. what she didn't know was my power. Astral projection. I left a replica of me inside that sick, frail body. The body they buried, and I was alive and well all along.

Terra soon ran away from home, so miserable because of everything that happened. Kinsey was left with only Aunt Gin, but Aunt Gin died in childbirth- she was diagnosed with cancer and delivered a dead baby. I've been watching Kinsey her whole life, and she's made so many mistakes, and I'm so proud of her though. Terra too. I'm happy, but the sorrow will continue to pile up."

Akadou smiled widely. He slid the ring onto her finger and kissed the ring, then her hand. He stood up and hugged her, almost ready to cry with joy. He had known she would say yes, but he was not expecting all the amazing compliments he was given. He stroked her face calmly and kissed her again.. "Oh, I love you."

Stacey grunted. "Oh, you're good. You're really good, Eponine." He craned his neck back a little, enjoying the kisses he was receiving. "You're going to make it hard to resist you soon." Stacey's grip on her weakened slightly, so she had more room. He was blushing extremely, and it was noticeable.

Gabriel said, "You've been through a lot... but, if it's any consolation, I'm here, and I want to help you, and support you. That is, if you don't mind. I just... I understand what it's like, to have multiple sorrows built up, one ofter the other, despite what it may seem like with my job and everything. But I really do want to help you, however I can."

Arianna kissed him in return, completely elated. "Akadou, I love you too, you're my everything." She felt like laughing and crying, all at the same time. Her eyes were glassy, but they were tears of joy building in her eyes. She had been waiting for him to ask, had been hoping that someday would be the right time. And there had certainly been no better time than that.

Eponine laughed quietly and said to him, "I know." She then playfully nipped at his neck, a smirk plastered on her lips. She glanced up at his face, and noticed just how red it was. She made a mental note of that, trying to remember all of the ways to throw him off.

Aimee looked at Gabriel with shiny eyes, tears brimming on the edges of her eyes. She looked down into her lap and fidgeted. "Thank you, Gabriel. You're a loyal friend for me, and I appreciate all that you have said, but I don't think I need help. I can handle myself- I always have- and sometimes, I wonder if I am better off without anyone in my life. Please, understand I am a loner and always will be."

Akadou kissed her hand again, the one with the ring, and let a few tears escape. He looked at her, stroking her face so gently, so tenderly, before resting his head on her shoulder and hugging her.

Fail one, Akadou is hard to find words for.

Stacey decided to change positions. He carefully moved Eponine to the side of him and scrambled on top of her. "Now, my dear, who will be driven crazy?" he asked, placing a hand under her shirt and stroking her stomach. He thought he skin was unusually soft for someone who was previously homeless and he smiled and leaned forward to kiss her.

Gabriel glanced over at her, and quietly murmured, "Please don't cry. I hate it when pretty girls cry, especially ones as pretty as you." Idly, he brushed a hand against her face, then drew back, trying to focus on the road. "Isn't there some way I could change your mind, Aimee? I... I want to change your mind, I like being near to you."

Arianna started crying, because she felt like she could if she wanted. She was pregnant, for crying out loud! She buried her face into the shoulder of his shirt, just crying silently, her arms wrapped gently around him. To have so much love within her, and to have it reciprocated in such a beautiful way, was more than she could have ever asked for.

She sighed with content, shivering involuntarily at the touch of his hand. Nearly unable to answer his question, she managed to breathe, "Me..." She kissed him in return, the smirk on her lips softening quite a bit. She reached up and placed a hand on the back of his head.

Aimee looked at Gabriel, wiping her eyes. "Look at me.. crying in front of you like an idiot." She gave a little breath that sounded like feeble laughter before looking out the window again. "Gabriel... You can change my mind. My mind can be easily fluctuated, but you have to know the key in making me want to change."

Akadou rubbed her back, another hand on the back of her head. He stroked her head tenderly, kissing her ear. He whispered, "You're the only one for me, Arianna. Forever." He took a deep breath, waiting for the reaction he would get. Things had been going well for him so far and he just couldn't help but release a few tears of joy.

Stacey laughed as his hand went up to her ribcage, pulling the shirt up along with it. He gave her stomach butterfly kisses, burrowing his head into her. He chuckled quietly, now requesting a time-skips so the Guides don't get angry : D

Gabriel slowed the car down, then pulled over at the side of the road, next to a field full of flowers. He turned the car off, then jumped over his door, and crossed around the car, walking into the field. For a few minutes, he seemed to disappear, but it wasn't too long before he returned, a makeshift bouquet of flowers in his hand. He opened her door, the knelt in front of her, handing her the flowers. Then, almost timidly, he leaned forward, and pressed his lips on her cheek. Moving his lips close to her ear, he whispered, "Please. Let me change your mind."

Arianna started bawling when he said that, so she decided not to remove her face from his shirt. She managed to stammer, "I-I... am the... the happiest g-g-girl... in the world..." She held him as close as she humanly could, what with her stomach being swollen to the point of exploding. Eventually she did draw back, and wiped away his tears with her thumbs.

And yes there was a time skip for obvious reasons, and life was beautiful. And I don't feel like starting after the skip, so I'll leave that to you! xD

Aimee just sat there, star struck for the most part. She bit her lower lip thoughtfully, obviously longing to say yes. But in the back of her mind, she knew the consequences of saying yes, the pros and the cons. Aimee finally lunged forward, hugging him as her hands looped around his neck, not much caring for the flowers at this point. She whispered, "Yes, you can change my mind."

Akadou leaned forward, kissing her before stroking her face so the tears weren't noticeable. "Hey, Arianna. I know you have hormones, but you don't need to be so happy." He figured she would have seen this coming and wouldn't have reacted so... so... he couldn't find the words, but they were positive. Akadou even felt slightly thrilled by her reactions.

Stacey was asleep on the counter, totally wiped out.

Gabriel embraced her, burying his face in her hair. "I promise, I promise, I will be good to you. Whenever you need help, I'll help you, always. Aimee, you can count on me." He drew back, and flashed his winning smile. "Trust me," he said, his face becoming serious. "Because your trust in me is worth more to me than anything."

Arianna sniffled and wiped her eyes. "I'm s-sorry! I'm just so excited, and overwhelmed, in a good way. I mean... I knew we'd get engaged sometime, I just didn't know how soon." She kissed him, then rubbed her stomach and said, "Katherine, after you're born, mommy and daddy are getting married. And you'll be there, to celebrate with us!"

Eponine was stuck under him, but she didn't mind. She just held him close, her eyes closed, listening to the steady flow of his breathing. Her voice barely audible, she whispered, "I love you, Stacey." She kissed his hair, then rubbed his back gently, trying to be subtle enough so he wouldn't wake up.

Aimee stared at Gabriel's face for what seemed liked years. Could she honestly trust this man..? Yes, she nodded her head and hugged him again. "I believe in you, Gabriel. Thank you, so much. I want you to be there for me, I want you to help me with sorrow, and I will return the favor to you without second thoughts. Please, let me return the favor.."

Akadou chuckled. "I'm sure she's equally excited, love. She gets to watch us get married.. not many children are that lucky. It's just a same that Kate won't remember.. unless she has a fantastic memory, then who knows what could happen. She is our baby, after all." Akadou thought. Kate was their child- she would probably be exceptionally talented- musically, physically, etc. He was so excited to watch Kate grow up now, and to finally have the girl of his dreams.

Stacey was sound asleep. That was a major fault of his- he could sleep so soundly, so easily, that nothing bothered him.

Gabriel said, "I will, Aimee. How could I refuse? I mean... you understand me completely, you let me in when nobody else could reach you. Of course I'm going to let you return the favor." He got to his feet, then got back in the driver's seat. "All right Aimee, let's continue our getaway for today. I'm thinking somewhere nice and romantic for dinner... Oh! I've got the perfect idea. But I can't tell you what it is."

Arianna had to sit down, because the baby's activity was suddenly skyrocketing. "You know.. after Kate's born, I'm going to miss this. Having her with me always, having the strange... bond, I guess, that a mother has with her baby when she's still pregnant. Maybe someday we could have a second baby?" She wanted a girl and a boy, at some point in her life. But she knew to just leave it to the hands of fate.

Eponine suddenly realized-- I have to go to the bathroom. She started wriggling, trying to slip out from under him, so he wouldn't fall off of the counter. This is awkward... She kept wriggling, and finally got one leg free. Then the second leg. Eventually, she managed to scoot out from under him, and sighed with relief. Then she darted to the restroom.

Aimee scrambled into the passenger seat clicking in the seatbelt. She smiled at the idea of a surprise, yet also hated it. Surprises were not really her thing, but Gabriel made anything seem special. She blushed lightly and looked out the window. "Where are we, anyway? It's so beautiful around here. I've never seen something so pretty."

Akadou smiled and clapped his hands together. "I'd do anything for you, and another little boy or girl to accompany Kate. Being an only child must be lonely. I wouldn't know, I had two sisters. But when Karin killed herself, a part of me practically died. Then again, our family was abnormally close compared to most, and I would like it to be the same for Kate and her siblings."

Stacey rolled around on the counter like a fish out of water. He was dreaming so peacefully, he didn't want to be bothered.

"We're out in the county area now. Outside of the city, but still within the county, I'm pretty sure. We're due north of the city, to be even more technical." In his mind, the gears were working overtime, as he planned out the special dinner for Aimee. He really wanted to just spend time with her, to get to know her better, to make her feel like the beautiful girl he knew she was. He wasn't one who liked receiving surprises, but he did like giving them. It was part of his job, that sort of thing.

Arianna said, "If you're fine with it, then I'm completely willing to try for a second child. But.. well, maybe after one or two years, I don't want them to be too close in age. It could definitely cause more tension if they were born close in age than if Kate were a bit older than the second baby." She turned and led him out of Leslie's house, not able to help stealing a glance at the beautiful ring on her finger.

Eponine decided to take a quick shower, and so she did, then wrapped a towel around her torso. She smiled, looking over at Stacey, then went and grabbed a blanket, and placed it on him. She then went and pulled on fresh underclothes, and stole a t-shirt from Stacey's closet. That's when she heard a knock at the door. "Again..." she muttered, getting fed up. She marched over to the door and yanked it open, then recoiled at the sight of who was there. "You--!" She exclaimed, her face growing red with fury.

Liam grabbed Eponine by the shoulders, glaring at her face. "You! Look, I don't know what your problem is, but the company is mine! The money is MINE! I OWN YOU!"

Eponine hissed, "Keep your voice down, Liam! Look, I'm not engaged to you, you chose your wh*re, you made your bed, now sleep in it! Yes, I'm back in the real world, I'm not on the streets anymore. And yes, I plan on crushing you, on taking back what my father entrusted to me, what my father thought you would help me maintain!"
