Yes school starts for me Sept.4 and i cant wait to go to school!! The reason why is i get to see all my friends not bored all day and at my school tamagotchis are aloud!!The teachers are so nice and they never have to yell at us!!Best of all are Recesses are 2 times longer than any other schools in Alberta!!

 

Yes i know it is sorta weird to be happy to go to school but on the other hand....its just plain fun and games at my school..

In Australia, school starts at the end of January or the beginning of February. We finish school about a week into December and we have four terms, with 2 week breaks between each term.

I agree with not being bored all day. At home, I'm only allowed to play one hour on the computer and two hours on my DS (provided that they're separate). And my mum seems to think Tamagotchi equivalant (sp?) to a video game. Well phooey, they're not really games, despite the common name "The Game of Virtual Life". So yeah school fills in the rest of the hours. Lol

Tamagotchi are allowed at my school too. How long is recess at your school? Recess is 20 minutes at my school. It starts at 10.50am and finishes at 11.10pm. Lunch starts at 12.40pm (except on Wednesdays, when it starts on 12.10pm) and finishes at 1.30pm (on Wednesdays finishes at 1pm).

Some teachers are nice while others (like my homeroom teacher) are just evil with a big capital E filling the whole page.

Thats great! Mine starts the fourth too ( which is tomorrow ). I'm guessing you haven't yet entered middle school yet scince you are still speaking of recess.I wish the best of you in school. I suggest the school planner, homework smarts, and other school books by American Girl. And its not weird to look forward to school.

Good for you, I am glad you are looking forward to school. I go back on the 5th of September and I'm looking forward to it too, I wouldn't say looking forward to school is weird at all.

I'd hate having no recess. I think about food all day long.

After breakfast, I think about what I'm gonna have for recess. After recess, I think about what I'm gonna have for lunch. After lunch, I think about what I'm gonna have for afternoon tea. After afternoon tea, I think about what I'm gonna have for dinner. After dinner, I think about what I'm gonna have for dessert. And after dessert, I think about what I'm gonna have for breakfast tomorrow.

It's after dinner now. So I'm thinking about my dessert.

As far as I know we don't really have a middle school in Australia. We have primary school (from Pre Primary to Year 7) and then we have high school (from Year 8 to Year 12).
