Really wierd...

I had my tam on the trampoline and then I shocked it on accident and the screen went blank! But I could still here the noises! Then I came here to write about it, and I heard it call for mail, and it was back to normal!

Has this happened to anyone?

Either you need a new battary, or it's broken, because some broken tamagotchis might make a high pich sound when they break...

Yikes. It's screwed up. Either try doing what toskatchigal said, or maybe try downloading it a few times... Or leave it out with the back unscrewed.
