Re-introduction

Hello everyone,

My name is Em and I have been a member of this forum for a while but haven't posted for about 10 years so thought I would (re)introduce myself.

I'm a big Tamagotchi fan and have around 20 Tamagotchi devices in my collection. I find that looking after these little virtual pets helps me a lot, through some difficult times and with day-to-day difficulties like leaving the house and socialising (I have Asperger's and these little guys help with my anxiety so much!).

With a recent loss I've found myself back to my Tamagotchis and I'm currently running my IDL and Music Star.

I wanted to share a post to re-introduce myself and hopefully get to know a few people (although I can find socialising difficult even online) but hope that I can get to know at least a few people here

I also wanted to say thank you because coming back to this forum and reading through other people's posts makes me realise that I'm part of something bigger. It's great to learn about some of the newer Tamagotchis too as I'm working out which one to buy next!

Hi! Welcome back to you from a new member! Just joined recently myself. Sorry to hear you've had a loss recently. I'm glad your Tamagotchis are able to help you feel better in some way. Sometimes simple things like that really make a big difference, especially when they're nostalgic!

Meg, I was lucky that I purchased 2 music stars when they were new so they were a reasonable price back then! Even though I enjoy the colour Tamagotchis, my favourite is definitely the Music Star and I will keep going back to that one

Thanks for the well wishes KrisKris and iAM. They definitely do make a difference and you're right, even the newer Tamagotchis have a sense of nostalgia about them
