I agree completely.

I was in an argument with someone before.

In my opinion, all (most not all) rap is just a cool beat with someone talking trash. Really, I'm not a fan of it. Well, with the exception of Flo Rida and Kayne West xD

The other person told me: "Yeah well rock is just all screaming, that's not singing either"

For those who think that, you're wrong.

Rock songs usually scream once, if not at all. You may be thinking of Scremo, which is a COMPLETELY different genre.

Listen to their song, Epic and We Care A lot. (maybe Midlife Crisis)

but mostly rock. but i dabble with Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, and Lonley Island.

Also Beastie Boys are Rap-Rock.
