"In other words, you were charmed by her, right?" Stevie finished his Snickers bar and threw the wrapper into a nearby trash can. "If you don't trust anybody, why do you need to protect a city full of people you don't trust?"

"Thank god, you're okay. *(&*()&$ Radi." Candace smiled. "We need to kill that little *!@(#^&*(@!, Cye, since he's just such a nuisance to us all."

"Because, I've seen death and destruction before, innocent people dying. It's not right. I have the power to protect it, so I need to." Cye sighed. "And yeah, I guess she charmed me a little, which is strange because I've never let that kind of stuff get in my way."

Jade nodded. "He's got a weakness for people he gets close to. Namely, me and that dead girlfriend of his. I say we mess with his mind a bit." A pause. "Do you know what his ex looked like?"

Stevie nodded, and then said, "Well, since you are a male, obviously, you have to sort of fall in love. By the way, you do know that you're technically trusting me right now because you're telling me this stuff, right?"

"Yeah, well, you've caught me at a weak moment, and I need to let this out. You're not a villain, and from what i can tell you're a good person, just too lazy to be a hero." he paused. "I have fallen in love. And she died. That's why I don't let it get in the way. But Jade reminded me so much of her, I let it get personal."

Flying out of the centre Fawn stormed off. Even though she could talk to him, she decided to text him instead. Are you nuts? Why did you let her go?! If you doing what I think your doing...you better not be. She quoted from the movie Fantastic Mr Fox.

Watching the boys Flora smiled. Cye is in love with you! She texted Jade. Anything you need help with?

"That's a pretty accurate description of me. Anyway, too bad. Same happened to me, kinda. Although it was hopeless anyway, so it didn't hurt me too much." Stevie sighed, suddenly feeling very old.

"Yeah, what happened?" Cye asked, thinking back to the night Sierra and Ray were killed.

Stevie shrugged. "I have no idea, really. Things just kinda happened, you know, the nuclear accident, and then the commotion of what happened afterwards... Yeah." He reached into the nearly empty grocery bag he had been carrying on his arm, and found that he only had one bag of beef jerky. He reminded himself to hit the corner mart once he finished talking with Cye.

"Oh, that sucks." Cye said, giving a small frown. "Why do you eat so much? Is it just a way to deal with stress, or is there a specific reason?"

 

[Runner]

Stevie shrugged. "I just like to eat, that's all. Food does make you feel better, not to mention it helps you live. That's why I love it so much. I guess that would mean it helps me cope with stress and other things. You should do what I do too." He shoved a piece of beef jerky into his mouth.

Fawn began tio walk home to her apartment.

Flora watched the boys intently from behind the tree. Slowly she made some nearby grass grow around their legs. Giggling madly, she ran off.

"Hm, no, I'm good. I deal with stuff in different ways." Cye said with a sigh. He then looked down, thinking of something.

Flora was bored. She began to text Candance. I'm bored... Wanna do anything? She sent the text.

"Aww. You're missing out, man. Anyway..." Stevie reached into the bag and shoved another piece of jerky in his mouth. "So, what do you plan to do about Jade now?"

'Busy plotting stuff with Jade, can't.' Candace texted Flora, before shoving her phone back in her pocket, and then said to Jade, "Her ex actually looked a bit like you. That's probably why he's such a gullible ***** when it comes to you. You could've probably told him to walk off a cliff and he would've done so, at least, before he knew you were Princess. You might still be able to pull it off, though."

"Kill Alpha." Cye laughed a little, somewhat acting crazy. "I can't believe I haven't thought of this earlier, I can just kill him, and all the other villains would stop..." Cye didn't think of any of the major flaws in his plan, he stood up.

 

[Runner]

"Uh, dude, wait." Stevie quickly pointed out, "Even if you kill Alpha, nothing will change. Some other villain will step up as leader, and then the crime will likely go up as revenge for murdering Alpha. I think you need to come up with a better plan."

Cye ignored Steevie, refusing to see any flaw in his plan. "No, it's perfect." Honestly, he just wanted revenge on Alpha for killing his brother and girlfriend, but he didn't dare admit the truth. He jumped down and ran off.
