Question about V5 and V5.5!

My question is this, can V5 and V5.5 Tamas connect? I just ask because when I try, my V5.5 says "Fail" and my V5 goes to the download/reset screen~

Your tamagotchi v5.5 and v5 just may need some new CR2032 batteries

They had new batteries when I tried it for the first time, and they continued to do it afterwards; do you know what option you have to choose when connecting them? Do you just choose V5 on both?

Yes, you choose v5 on both. The problem is without doubt the batteries, it's in fact quite a common problem that a tamagotchi might reset when the batteries are low.

Even though the battery is new, tamagotchis are quite picky about the brands of the batteries. I suggest you try a Maxell, Energizer or Duracell battery for the tamagotchi, and it should work perfectly.

Alright, thank you for your help. I get my batteries from a pound store so they are naturally cheap and not good quality... I don't think my mum will let me use better batteries for Tamagotchi so I guess I'll just have to forget about connecting them. Well, thank you very much for your help!

You can order high quality batteries for almost nothing on ebay, that's what I do since batteries are super expensive here in Sweden.
