Okay, well a lot of people have been making poems lately, so I figured I'd just conjure one up myself! Here goes:

I'm not very poetic

If you look, you can see

But how else can I tell you

What you mean to me?

Your eyes are like a pond

Your voice, a melody

I wish I could finish soon

But that's barely describing thee

I wish I could see you now

But sadly, I cannot

We've parted ways, it's done for, gone

Our feelings are starting to rot

You've got your friends and I've got mine

I wish that all would change

We used to be best friends for life

Who were really, really strange

But the strangeness passed

And now we've grown

Our friendship has changed

And away I have flown

We converse online

But to me, no way

It's not good enough

I must see you... today!

You're in my heart

You're in my dreams

I just hope

You don't forget me

To the people who rated badly: Can you please be somewhat courteous? Stop leaving people blank thinking, "What did I do wrong?" and tell them. Of course, lots of people just rate and not post for identity reasons. I understand that, but just don't leave the writer puzzled.
