mm ok what is this "rom test" thing and how do u do it.

i have v3, if the version is needed

ROM testing is used to see that a tamagotchi works properly before it leaves the warehouse for packaging. It's not very safe to do as you have to completely reset your tama....

Well, I think you need to have a V1 or V2.
