What version? As far as I know, v1-v4.5 must be 6 years of age for the matchmaker to come; or you could connect/marry with another Tama.

For v5, wait 48 hours after it becomes an adult. Then either connect/marry or go to the dating show.

I don't own a v6 yet.

When your tama is 6 years old (OR days) the matchmaker will come at 10:30, 10:00, 12:30, !2:00, and I THINK 6:00 6:30. (I'm not sure about all of the times, but I'm SURE that the :30 ones work)
