pet or baby?

Is the tama based more on a pet to take care of or more on a baby thats urs? i just wanna know how to treat him.

Tamas are way more of a pet than a baby. I don't know any baby that makes little hershey kiss poops. I don't know any baby that have cute little alien faces. I don't know any baby that comes with a never ending supply of food. So pet for sure. ^_^

well I think diffrent my tama is more than a pet its my baby. I love them alot.I dont care what any one says about my tama it wont make me love them less ^_^

I treat mine like a baby. I love to take care of them well and I fell sorry for them when I don't. Even though they don't look like baby's I treat them like it. ;0

I do think they are more seen as pets, but I love my Tama's soooo much, I treat them as my babies.

I think more of a pet. If you consider it a baby than your way to obbsessed with it and you need to chill back for a second. The fact that you can take it to school does make it seem like a baby, but just think of it as dog school. besides, it would be a Virtual Baby instead of a Virtual pet. Now that dosen't sound right, does it?

Starts as a baby pet and then grows, if that makes any sense. Older Tamagotchi are more petlike than newer versions.
