What I mean by 'Personalized Welcomes' is when you post in soembody introduction and you just copy and paste the same message over and over again in everybody's Introduction to TT. For example....

Do you get what I mean? I find it pretty annoying, as I like it when people personalize their welcomes. It makes it look like they took the time to greet the new members. But thats just my opinion.

Whats yours?

NOTE: This is my opinion. Ok? This is not being suggested as a rule for TT, it is just to gather opinions.

Thanks for understading, and respect others.

That bugs me too.

I don't mind if someone posts something along the same lines but when it's just copy and pasted and it's not even personal to begin with it gets annoying.

I'm kind of neutral on this. On smaller forums like other places I go on, I don't see it as a big deal since the community is small, but close. It tends to bug me more on a bigger community such as this one. To be fair though, I don't look in introductions very often at all. I just go in here ;)

I kinda find it rude. But it depends if your giving links to other places like:

My name is someone aren't we all:

Hi I'm new hope I'm welcomes

Miss so and so:

Welcome to TT be sure to read the rules

Then they copy and paste the link for another person here:

Whatever my name is la la:

Hi I'm new to tamatalk I like V4s do you?

Miss so and so:

Welcome to TT be sure to read the rules

I find it okay to copy and paste links just not copy and paste your same message to welcome members.

I agree with you, Lily12.

It is rude, but it's not the worst...

It's cool to help new members, but after a while, the over-and-over-again copying gets on m nerve.
