If I go to tamatown and get a password how do I get the item that I put the password in for? I see the present box opening and then my tama happy but I cant find it after that? What do Passwords do anyway?

Its really easy if you read the instructions booklet.

Well, here's how.

You go to Tamatown.com and then get passwords and codes or finish minigames to get the codes. After you did that, a kinda bubble will show up and it will say the password. Then you go to the baseball/game icon and scroll down to "Password". Now, a blobby thing will appear and you press the ( button to enter the pass word you got. Some items, you need to pay. But if you play a minigame and win, you get a free item, or if you visited your parents. After you typed in the "Correct" numbers, you will either see the item and the price below it, or a present coming down and it will open to the item you wanted.

About the can't finding it situation.... It won't be in the chef icon, unless its a food you bought from the store. It "Might" be in the Items. Last, did you check the Souvenirs list? Mostly the password items are in there. So scroll through the whole list and check if it was there. ^.^
