Passwords won't enter into my v3?

I have recently regained access to the internet on my computer and am trying to use my new Tamagotchis. Unfortunetly, nothing seems to work. Today, I cannot enter passwords into my v3. I try to press 'A' to change the number 0 to 1 but no matter how many times I press the 'A' button, all of the numbers stay to 0. Is this happening to anybody else? I thought at first that it was because my Tama was a baby, but then it also didn't work as a child, teen, adult, or as an oldie. Help would be appreciated. Thank you,

Hmm...maybe put in brand-spanking-new batteries, reset, and go from there? Do the buttons beep when you press them?

I experimented with changing the battery and pressing the reset button but nothing has changed. Curiously, as you mentioned, the 'A' button doesn't beep when I press it in the password section. I wonder why?

No problem at all! I lurk around TamaTalk more often when it's the summer. :wacko:

Regarding the "A" button, is it only in the password section or does it happen in general? I was just going to say that if it happens in general, maybe your buttons aren't making contact with the circuit board. I'm not experienced with circuits, wiring, and such doohickeys, but I'm thinking it may be something internal. That's all I've got.

It's a big help too.

As for the buttons, it does, unfortunetly, happen only in the password section. It's very hard to understand why it all happens to me. :/ Every Tamagotchi I buy and have ever bought breaks in maximum three days. So do my computers. Maybe electronics are not my thing? I don't know. I guess I should just hope for the best. And thank you for your time. It's much appreciated. Thank you,

I'll keep pondering over this and if a stroke of inspiration reaches me, I'll let you know. In the meantime, I hope others who may have had a similar problem will be able to help you out as well. You can't be the only one with this question on a forum this big!
