Osutchi & Mesutchi or Mothra?

Well, my birthday is in exactly one month and I'm going to ask for Tamas. I was just browsing eBay, and I found a pair of new Osutchi and Mesutchi Tamas for $119 and a Mothra for $36. Which do you think I should get? I want something rare that I can be proud of, but I don't want to get ripped off. Which is better gameplay, rarer and more reasonably priced, the Osutchi & Mesutchi pair or the Mothra?

I would say the Mothra. It's more rare, and I think the Osu/Mesu pair should only be $90 ($45 for each one).

I don't have any of them...The Mothra doesn't have Tamagotchi characters e.g., Mimitchi, Mametchi... it's based on a non-Tama movie called Mothra 2.

I own a Osu/Mesu pair but I haven't activated them yet. I think the Osu/Mesu pair is pretty cool since they're the only vintage tamas that can connect and breed. :mimitchi:

There's actually cheaper pairs than $90-119 on ebay, you just got to know where to search.

I have a Mothra and I really like it. I bought it because it is one of the Vintage Tamas and because it is still good value for a vintage - not too much money.

I don't think Mothra's are particularly rare - they still come up pretty regularly on ebay at around the price you're looking at - sometimes lower - depends on whether you get a last minute run on bidding. Some of the Mothra shell designs are rare so they are much more expensive.

However, Mallow_Cup is selling one atm: https://www.ebay.com/...9#ht_500wt_1131 and it's a good price and you know you can trust her...

Obviously the Osu/Mesu tamas need to be bought as a pair (boy/girl) if you want to breed them so they are more expensive and most people try to get the matching pair colours. (Make sure you buy a boy and a girl!)

That probably makes them more rare - or rather more in demand than Mothras - but of course, you can keep going with a Mothra and get more generations instead of them just dying and having to start over again (without having to buy a 2nd tama ...).

Some colours are more rare than others and that affects price, but if you just want another ancestor for your collection then rarity of shell design should not come before actually having one in your collection! XD

Yes, I looked at that topic. I've decided to get the Osu/Mesu pair, the 15th anni. iD L and something else for my birthday. The Osu/Mesu are definitely good for a collection since they're the first ones that can breed.

Im glad you chose the osu/mesu. I have them and really like them. They evolve kinda slow so just keep that in mind. But they have LOTS of characters to obtain. Just make sure u get a good price!!
