Hello!

It was said that only 10,000 Hong Kong P1s were made... only, while doing an Internet search, I found this certificate. It says the P1 is number 12,378... how is that even possible??

Thank you for the replies.. I am quite confused.

well there was only one person who had said there was only 10,000 made. and everyone goes off what she said. i'm sure your certificate is proof enough that there were more made.

probably 15,000.

That's a good question :)

There are several other possibilities to explain this.

As ciara mentions - maybe there were more than 10,000 made but it could be that some very good fakes were made,,,

However, maybe the numbering system on the certificates is misleading (in other words the certificate numbers don't start at 1)

This seems the most likely / obvious explanation to me.

I wonder how many other TamaTalk members have or had a HK commemorative edition and can share what number is on their certificate?

I had one, but I sold it, but I remember it was a 1+ whatever numbers followed.

maybe that's not the number of the tama made, maybe its just a serial code like an ID number
