Old Tama problem...

Ive just been thinking, In the olden days Mametchi was blue and Marutchi was green etc. But Do you think they have changed to much? Marutchi is now yellow and you dont see him in many versions and for Tonmarutchi.....He was gone after P2! Do you think Old Tama's should be on another Version and there original colours should return?

I don't think they should've gotten rid of the older Tamagotchis. I miss Ginjirotchi. He was one of my favorites along with Mimitchi, of course.

There's a point where it would've been fine to add SOME new characters, but there's way too many to keep up with now.

I agree with you that they should return thr old characters from the P1/P2 on a new tama. As far as the color changes, I king of like the change (Manetchi being yellow and not blue).

Also Tonmarutchi was on the V1 and V2. To get him on the V1 you have to take perfect care of the parent.

Yes, I would love to have a version with some old characters on as well. Luckily I found a picture of Tonmarutchi and Im using it at the moment. (Tonmarutchi is green and has a lump on his head) I might email bandai about this.

Masktchi was one of my favourites... and as far as I know, he hasn't been in anything except the original 1997 Tamagotchi.

I miss a lot of the older characters too. Luckily, there are still P1s and P2s out there for everyone to buy and enjoy. If you don't have one yet, I would definitely recommend getting one, at least a P2. Sure, they're not chock-full of cool features and characters like the more modern ones, but there's definitely something very magical about going old-school. Especially if you've been playing with Tamagotchis since the '90s.
