Okay, today there was a freak accident in West Palm Beach, Florida. A construction worker fell 50 feet to his death.

His name was Jimmy Ford, he was my second cousin.

I never met him, but i feel bad because my grandpa and uncle in florida are crying. My mom is still in shock. The accident happened today. I feel horrible.

Has anything like this ever happen in your family?

No, but thats sad. I feel sry for you, although you never met him. As in I feel sorry for your family.

Thats so sad! Maybe make a poster of him and have all of his good qualities some jokes and good pictures of him. Then at the top put RIP.

I'm soo sorry ;[

oh wow I'm sorry!

no nothing never happened like that 2 my family that I know of

I'm sorry that happened.

Yeah when my grandpa died my mother was crying, and so was my grandma. But I never knew him, 'cause he didn't want to meet me and he left my mom's life. I don't cry when people die. But if it is someone really close I cry.

Nothing like that has happened to my family, luckily.

I'm so sorry...that's a terrible way to die...

No, that has never happened to me...but I think my dad's friend's brother fell off a very tall building and died. :(

I know I talked about this to you, but I'm still terribly, terribly sorry. I know its hard to go through something like this; even if you didn't know him, your family did, and its a hard thing to see the adults in your life cry.

I prefer not to talk of the accidents in my family, though you may already know a few, but I know exactly how you feel.

Best of wishes.

Wow. 0.0 I'm so sorry that happened. I feel for you.

I'm surprised I haven't heard of it yet, because I live relatively close to where the accident happened (Melbourne, FL).

I'm getting scared.

We are driving down to Florida tomorrow early in the morning, i'm seeing his body.

i don't want to see a body.

i am afraid of dead people, and the idea of death.

i never seen a dead body before

what do i do?! i'm freaking out!!!

wow thats realy sad!!! my grandma died of cancer not to long ago so i painted a picture of her wearing a leaf dress, leafs are a sign of long life, to simboliize that she will live on forever

yeah i no its wierd but im big on art

anywho im realy sorry for you!!!thats just so sad

I went to the funeral on Saturday.

I was a little releived, his body wasn't bad. His head was fine, he had a helmet on when he fell... but he broke his neck.

I felt so bad for my cousins that did know him, they were crying non stop.

Yes, My dog killed my other dog, so I know how you feel. It huts for the first couple of weeks but it will get better. Don't avoid it just come clean and talk about it like I did. I am sorry :)

Thats so sad, but it's amazing how you don't even have to know somone to feel compassion or sadness towards them. Everyone who has posted here has felt so bad for you and your family for having to suffer, and it's just amazing how people come together in times like these, even though we dont you. Nothing like that has every happened to me before, except once when I missed the landing on some stairs in the dark and fell, luckily i grabbed the top ledge that saved me from certain death. Pretty scary.
