Newbie who might have cought the collector bug!

Hi All, new to this forum and usually don't join forums! I recently got a itch for some nostalgia and purchased a Rakuraku Dinkie Dinokun from eBay and quickly ended up here when searching for the difference between fake and real Dinkie Dino's. Really useful info! I had a Dinkie Dino as a kid and loved it so much and thought, why not?


Anyway, long story short, bought my Dinkie Dino a few days ago, still waiting for it to arrive so I haven't even received the little guy yet, let along tested if it works! I'm really enjoying reading about other people's Tamagotchi, Giga Pets, Dinkie Pets and everything else. So cool! Makes me want to buy a Tamagotchi next! Maybe I'll eventually become a collector too....

It didn't arrive! I'm gutted, the seller is defo dodgy. They have a whole lot of items on their eBay page all with the same photo for their listings. My bad for not looking at the reviews before I bought it. Anyway, eBay have jumped in and a refund has been issued, so I'm waiting to see if that clears before I give a review. There's plenty of other dinkie dino's for sale, so I'll buy another one from a more reputable seller. But at about $70-$100 AUD each these bad boys aren't cheap!

Sorry to hear about it. Hope you can buy one from a really reputable seller. Was it supposed to be cheaper?

Defo in the market for a Dinkie Dino. I spotted one of those 4 in 1 Dinkie Giga Pets on eBay (that would be cool!), but the seller's location changed twice in two weeks which was a bit suss, so I think I'll pass haha...
