New Year gatecrashers

"Oh..." Finally, Eleanor pulled away and had a good look around. "Looks pretty nice..."

Zane nodded. "It is." he told her. "Nobody can find us here."

Eleanor was silent for a few moments, before saying quietly "Maybe we should just stay here..."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking." Zane admitted. "But it's up to you, what about all your family and friends?"

 

[tamaturtle]

Eleanor groaned. "I dunno... I'll make up something, see them now and then, use my powers if I have to... what about you?"

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane thought for a second. "I guess I'll do the same."

 

[tamaturtle]

"I don't want to drag them into this." Eleanor said quietly.

 

[YellowJedi]

"Well, all of my friends and family are either dead or immortal." Zane pointed out.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Yeah, but mine aren't apart from my real dad, and he's already involved." Eleanor pointed out. "God knows about my friends, and as for my mum and brother..."

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane just nodded. "Well, what now?" he asked.

Eleanor shrugged. "Find somewhere to... live?"

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane nodded, and started to walk around the village. It was a small village, very quiet and peaceful. "This village is a place for immortals to escape from humans. Living here is free, so we shouldn't have a problem. They always have available places to live." he explained to Eleanor.

"This reminds me of where I used to live..." Eleanor said quietly, holding onto Zane's arm. "And that's good."

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane nodded, and continued to walk. They passed a house with a glyph above it. "That glyph means the house is available. So when you see a house you like with a glyph over it, tell me."

Eleanor nodded, biting her lip and looking around. Eventually she pointed to one. "How about that one?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"Oh, sure..." Zane said, walking inside. "Wow, this is nice."

 

[tamaturtle]

"Yeah..." Eleanor said, finally breaking into a smile. "You like it?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yeah, I do." Zane removed the glyph from above it. "And it's ours now."

 

[tamaturtle]

Eleanor took Zane removing the glyph as a cue to flop onto one of the chairs. "Home sweet home, huh?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yeah, home sweet home." Zane smiled, sitting next to Eleanor.
