New Year gatecrashers

Eleanor paused for a few moments before kicking off, starting to swing and gradually building up height. "Please tell me you've been to a playground before."

"Why? I want to find Diana and kill her..." Lucinda growled as she lay down, but she could already feel herself becoming tired.

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yeah, I have." Zane said, swinging along with her.

Zyros stroked her hair. "Listen, get some sleep, and we'll talk about it when you wake up."

"Oh good." Eleanor smiled, looking down at Zane as she swung.

Lucinda sighed and remained tense and muttering for a few moments before falling asleep.

Zane smiled at her. "Well, this is nice. Finally being able to just relax."

Zyros quickly fell asleep next to her, Lucinda still in his arms.

"You don't say. Although I still feel paranoid." Eleanor laughed. "Like... I dunno, someone's gonna appear out of no-where and attack us..."

"Don't worry, I'm sure we're fine." Zane told her.

"Yeah..." Eleanor shrugged. "Guess I'm still getting used to the whole immortal thing... has your life always been like this?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"well, yeah. I've been immortal my entire life." Zane said.

 

[tamaturtle]

"I meant with the whole fighting thing." Eleanor laughed.

 

[YellowJedi]

"Oh." Zane laughed. "Yeah, kinda. Honestly, I got my $&@ kicked a lot."

 

[tamaturtle]

"Seriously? I can't imagine that..." Eleanor laughed.

 

[YellowJedi]

"Trust me, it happened a lot." Zane just sighed this time.

 

[tamaturtle]

"I don't think I've ever been in any fights. Well, before New Year anyway." Eleanor frowned.

 

[YellowJedi]

"Trust me, you're lucky." Zane told her.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Was it really that bad?" Eleanor asked quietly.

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane stayed quiet for a second. "It wasn't." He lied. "anyway, what was your childhood like?" he asked, trying to change the subject.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Not very interesting." Eleanor laughed. "Lived here my whole life, focused on school... usual stuff."

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane nodded. "Oh, okay." he said. "Did you hang out here a lot?" he asked.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Mm... not so much when I became 11 or 12." Eleanor told Zane. "But yeah, it was all school... and then I met Jet and my family went to hell and everything went downhill."

"Oh, that sucks." Zane sighed. "My family was weird too, but in a good way."
