New Year gatecrashers

Eleanor nodded, glancing at the stand of the bike and making it fold up before turning around, setting off for the mansion. "You'd better be able to!"

"Okay... where are we going?" Jet asked.

"Kitchen, that's what you were looking for, right?" Melody asked.

Zane easily kept up with the speed of the bike.

"Yeah... who told you that?" Jet frowned. "I doubt there'll be anything left anyway... you may have missed it, but there was a party last night."

Eleanor kept going until she suddenly skidded to a halt, frowning at the mansion some way away. "Don't go any further..." She said, squinting slightly so she properly make out the shimmer she could see in the air. "One hell of a protection spell around this place now..."

"Yeah, I missed a party at my own house." Melody laughed. "Follow me." she told him, grabbing his hand and taking him to the kitchen.

Zane got a little closer, the momentum making it hard to stop. He was able to jump of before the spell could do any damage. "Any idea what to do now?"

Jet laughed, happily following Melody as she lead him through into the kitchen. "So you do actually live here with Voriz then?"

"Well, I could probably try and take it down. Of course, Voriz might feel something - I dunno how the hell he set this up! - but oh well..." Eleanor said, more to herself than Zane, as she hopped off the bike for a moment and frowned at the barrier, before gently putting her hands just over a part and closing her eyes. "Any second now..."

Zane felt helpless, not knowing what to do.

Melody smiled at Jet, opening the fridge. "See, we still have a lot of food left."

After a couple of moments, Eleanor stepped back, flexing her fingers. "Okay! That's done. Am I brilliant or what?" She got back on the bike, which she had left running. "I dunno if Voriz felt anything, but I don't really care. Come on, let's go."

"Awesome." Jet grinned, leaning forward and grabbing some random stuff. "Let me know now if you want anything."

"I'm good." Melody told Jet.

Zane quickly followed. "Listen, you think this is a good idea. Even with your power boost, Vaiz will still be powerful." he reminded her again.

Vaiz?

"Great. More for me then." Jet said, grabbing some more stuff from the fridge before closing the door and turning around. "Okay... anywhere to sit around here?"

"Yeah, but I'm equal to him now, and I really doubt after all the stuff I've been doing on the way here he'll be able to drain me again in one shot." Eleanor pointed out as they approached. "I'll be fine."

"Yeah, follow me." Melody said, taking him into the dining room.

Zane just nodded, still frowning. He didn't like this idea, he was afraid one of them would get hurt.

Jet again happily followed Melody, actually start to eat something he's picked out of the fridge on the way.

"Dude, keep your thoughts down, seriously." Eleanor grinned. "I'll be fine." She skidded to a halt outside of the door, sorting the bike out and hopping off. "Ready to storm the place? All two of us?"

I'll probably be making that mistake a lot xD.

Zane nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready." he told her, walking next to her.

"Good." Eleanor grinned, draping her arms around Zane's neck for a few moments. "Don't bother with any of the others unless we have to. We just need to get in there, end Voriz, and everything's good." She paused. "That said, I think we should split up."

Zane nodded. "I'll go through the back, use my hoverboard to get through his window. I'll try to stall until you get there." he told her.

"If you're sure you'll be alright... nah, you'll be alright, I know you will be." Eleanor smiled, pulling away. "I, meanwhile, will simply go through the front door. I'll easily find Voriz and," Eleanor giggled. "It's a heck of a lot more badass."

Zane nodded. "See you there." He smiled, kissing her on the cheek and running off. He went up to Voriz's window, and broke it, jumping in.

Eleanor watched Zane go before entering through the front door, calmly walking through the house.

Melody looked at Eleanor. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

Voriz smirked. "Yeah, no." He said, electrocuting Zane.

"You didn't see me." Eleanor muttered, not even glancing at Melody as she waved her hand and made her forget the last few minutes. Pausing for a few moments, Eleanor tried to pick up on where Zane and Voriz were, and when she did, she broke into a run. Well, a vampire-fast run anyway.

Melody was not affected by Eleanor's magic, but let her pass. "Listen, if she kills my brother..." she smirked. "We could take over the world, with us in charge instead of my brother."

Voriz walked over, throwing Zane into the wall.
