Hi im new to the forums and this is my first time raising a tama, Im v4.5 and i have a girl star tamagotchi named tofu, I will soon get a new tamagotchi i dont know if i should get v6 or v5. i like v5 best but i need oppinions.

From what I've heard, the V5 is not very popular among a considerable amount of people. I think it's because people prefer raising one character at a time, rather than having to worry about a whole family on one screen. Honestly though, you know what you like, and if you say that you like the V5 best, go for it. I would try something different though and the V6 seems pretty cool (I don't have one myself, I mainly collect vintage Tamagotchis). Good luck! Oh, and welcome to TamaTalk!

Ive read up on v5. Do you start with multiple eggs  if so i might not get it.

I'm not sure. I think I've heard that it's multiple characters from one egg. You raise multiple characters on one screen, that I know for sure (that's why the V5 is called Familitchi). Keep an open mind. The concept sounds kind of cool. Others may not like the V5, but it doesn't mean you should feel the same way. It's good that you're doing the research. Keep at it, you'll eventually find the one that fits what you're looking for in a Tamagotchi.

it would be kinda hard if off the bat i had to take care of more then one tama but im probably gona get A V5. B)

They hatch from several eggs, three in the first generation, and then after the first, you will have parents too, they won't normally be on the screen though, and also, the oldest of the kids will be like the main charachter, he/she will do all the major things, like playing games and so.

The toys are almost all the same when you use them, I wouldn't say v5 is one really "exiting tama".

I like the music star better, I think it has more intresting functions, (I have both versions) but the familitchi is more raising different charachters and types of families, see, if you get a pure family, I think that's when it starts getting real fun.

Of course everyone has their own opinions, and if you feel for buying the v5 first, go for it!

I'd suggest music star though, good luck with your new tama, and welcome to TT!!!  B)

It depends on your personality.

I would wait for the tama-go but I already have 4 tamas activated and 2 tamas de-activated.

My signature lies!

but if you like singing, dancing or those things, You should probaly do music star.

if you want to care for a whole family than it's a v5.

I have 2 v5 and really, it is the same with more characters on the screen. If 1 gets sick, they all get sick. You feed them all 1 meal and they share. It fills one hungry heart as normal. And starting from v5, there are 5 hearts not 4.But it it harder to get overweight.

I didn't care for my tama AT ALL, I just fed it to keep hearts up and only when they were adults a day from marrying I got an overweight family.

Thanks for you oppinions everyone! , thanks pink ive decided to get a v5 because: I want more then one tamagotchi but cant aford to buy more then 1, so a v5 is best for me! also its the biggest evolution amount in all of the tama history i think.

UPDATE!

My mom couldnt find a v5 in stores so im getting a v6 bundle pack with guitar pik tamagotchi v6 and tamagotchi the movie!

Cewl!!

Good luck with your new tama, be positive and treat it with patience and he/she will grow up to be a wonderful pet and friend!!! :D

Personally, I would have scoured ebay for a V5. I find the V5 pleasantly easy to work with even during school hours. And there's lots of cheat codes available here on the forums.

The V6/Music Star is a little on the noisy side. I don't use mine much because it irritates my family. Good luck anyway, the Music Star does have it's charm.

I see what you are saying about the noisiness. The v6 does tend to be noisy, with practices, concerts, and band practices.

Simple solution:

A+C--> Sound off!
